NECK LIPECTOMY – NECK COUNTOURING

A 57-year-old Boca Raton cosmetic surgery patient came to our Lauderdale requesting “minimal surgery to improve my neck”. She was a professional women who could afford only one week for recovery before she returns to work.

On clinical presentation she demonstrated a full neck due to accumulation of fat in the area between skin and neck muscles and around the jaw. She had no visible jawline and there was no separation between the neck and the face (left).

Her surgery was done in our AAAA Certified Office Surgery Center in twilight anesthesia supervised by an anesthesiologist.  Surgery involved aggressive liposuction and cleaning of fat all around her neck and lower jaw. Her recovery (bruising and mild swelling) took one week and she was back to full work 10 days after surgery.

Notice a significant improvement in the lower jaw; a visible jawline clearly separates the neck from the face. This patient was an ideal candidate for face and neck lift but she opted for neck lipectomy  which still gave her a satisfactory improvement.
