FACE LIFT AND NECK LIFT CASE #383

A 52 years old patient from Miami came to our Ft. Lauderdale cosmetic surgery center for evaluation about facial rejuvenation including eyelid, face and neck surgery. After detailed evaluation and discussion about available surgical and non-surgical options we decided to do face and neck lift followed with upper and lower eyelid surgery and fat grafting.

Her surgery was done in general anesthesia in our office surgery center. Fat grafts were harvested by means of liposuction from patient’s lower abdomen, prepared (blood and fat oils removed) and injected into her cheeks, around the eyes and eyebrows. Upper and lower eyelid surgery was done after this, followed with face and neck lift. Significant amount of fat was removed from the neck and around jawline to create oval shaped youthful face and sculpture her rather heavy neck.  The entire procedure lasted  4.5 hours. Patient was recovered after surgery and discharged home approximately 1.5 hours after procedure. Her postoperative course was without complications. She returned to work as a teacher in 2 weeks.
