This 40-year-old patient was concerned about neck fullness, jowls, and a “poorly defined” jawline.

In order to achieve this goal, we selected the anterior neck lift procedure. This includes aggressive liposuction of lateral neck and jawline followed with direct removal of superficial and deep fat compartments of anterior neck. It also includes an adjustment and tightening of the anterior portion (bands) of the neck platysma muscles in order to create youthful jaw-neck angle. This was all done through a small incision underneath the chin. Surgery was done using twilight anesthesia. Patient’s recovery was less than a week long.

Patient is shown before and 10 months after neck lift.
