BREAST LIFT CASE 50

39-year-old professional women, CEO of a small company from Miami, wanted small to moderate breast enlargement with silicone implants. She also wanted breast lift and correction of size of her areolas; her right areola is larger and 1 cm. lower than left one. We have first placed silicone gel implants size 300 ml. underneath the muscles. Next step was to lift left areola for 0.5 cm and right areola for 1.5 cm… Right areola was reduced in size to match left areola. To achieve all of this in a single surgery we have used incision around areola so called “doughnut incision” or “circum-areolar incision”. This type of breast lift/augmentation may create nice improvement in patients who have lost fullness in the upper breast pole so that their breasts look visually lower than they actually are. Size discrepancy between areolas is improved and nipples are on the same level; her scars are still fresh and immature and will improve in time.
