THIGH LIFT
A 46-year old cosmetic patient came for consultation regarding thigh shaping surgery. She was complaining mostly about laxity of her inner thigh skin and some sagging.
We have discussed inner thigh lift (medial thigh lift) as a way to tighten loose thigh skin and provide some lift in inner and front aspect of her thighs.
Her surgery was done in general anesthesia. It included liposuction of inner thighs followed by a skin removal. She was discharged home as soon as she recovered from general anesthesia. She was back to normal duties in 2 weeks. She resumed a full exercise schedule in 6 weeks.
Images of the patient before thigh lift surgery on the left demonstrate mild deformity of the inner thighs. Preoperative markings of the skin to be removed are visible on the back view. On the right patient is shown 3 months after medial thigh lift. Notice that scars that are located in the inner aspect of the thighs are not visible on the front and/or back view.
