FACIAL IMPLANTS CHIN

A 34-year-old patient from Boca Raton came in for a consultation regarding the enlargement of his chin. He states that in comparison to his nose, which is strong and masculine, his chin “looks too weak”. He wanted to explore possibility of chin surgery to achieve more balance between a large nose that he likes and a small chin.

After clinical evaluation that confirmed small, hypoplastic and retruded chin we discussed chin enlargement and shaping with silicone chin implant. We tried different shapes and sizes of chin implants  and selected the most appropriate one for this patient.

His surgery was done in general anesthesia supervised by a board certified anesthesiologist. The chin implant was placed through a small incision placed in the neck-chin crease and is well hidden.
