LIP AUGMENTATION

This 35 year old patient comes for lip augmentation with dermal fillers every 6-9 months. She wants very subtle augmentation since she already has full, nicely shaped lips.

In our Fort Lauderdale cosmetic surgery practice we mostly  use hialuronic acid based fillers like Restylane Silk and Belotero or fat grafts for this purpose.  This patient was treated with 1 ml of soft tissue filler Belotero placed into “white roll” of the lip where red portion of the lip (vermilion) transition into facial skin. Before lip injection a topical anesthetic cream is applied over the lips to decrease pain.

Patient is shown before injection of the lip with soft tissue filler and 10 days after treatment with 1 ml of Belotero.
