Fat grafts for breast asymmetry correction
This 47 year old patient had infection of left breast implant; after two implant replacements which resulted in continuous infection, left implant was removed. A long lasting infection resulted in significant loss of left breast tissue and severe breast asymmetry; that was the reason she came for a consult. We decided to treat her with staged fat graft transfer to restore shape and size of left breast and improve overall breast symmetry. Two stages of fat grafting were done both for left and right breasts. patients is shown 8 months after second breast grafting.
