TUMMY TUCK WITH LIPOSUCTION- ABDOMINOPLASTY

This cosmetic surgery patient from West Palm Beach presented to our office for consultation about body contouring surgery. She lost 40 lbs. in the past 2 years and would like to have surgical correction of her droopy abdomen and flanks.

After thorough clinical evaluation in our Fort Lauderdale cosmetic surgery center we discussed surgical options for  correction of saggy abdomen, flanks and buttocks. As a first option we proposed extensive abdominoplasty (tummy tuck with liposuction) that will address sagging tummy deformity and, in part, thighs. The other, more extensive option would be a circumferential or lower body lift that will also include a buttock lift. Patient selected a first option, an extensive abdominoplasty with liposuction.

Her surgery was done in our accredited office based plastic surgery center in general anesthesia. It included removal of excess skin from abdomen and flanks and conservative liposuction of abdomen, flanks and lower back. She was discharged home 1.5 hours after surgery. During surgery multiple nerve blocks with long lasting anesthetic are done so patient is pain free for 12-15 hours after surgery. She was back to her work in 2-3 weeks.
