LIPOSUCTION

A 41-year-old Miami plastic surgery patient came to our office requesting improvement of the abdomen and love handles. She had one child 7 years ago; during pregnancy and breast feeding she gained 20 plus lbs. She claims that despite of “multiple diets and occasional exercise sprees I still have to much fat in my lower abdomen and back”.

Preoperative evaluation in our plastic surgery center in Ft. Lauderdale demonstrated localized fat deposits in the abdomen, lower and upper and moderate fat deposits (lipodystrophy) in the flanks and lower back (left).

Her surgery included aggressive suction assisted lipectomy (liposuction) of the abdomen and back/flanks in general anesthesia.  Surgery was performed in our AAAA Certified Plastic Surgery Center.

Notice a significant difference in the abdominal prominence and bulge before surgery and flat, sculpted appearance after body contouring with liposuction. There is a noticeable difference in the back and flanks as well
