Dr. Zoran Pricing of Surgical Procedures
Overview of Surgical Procedure Pricing
The pricing of surgical procedures in our office is determined by multiple factors, each contributing to the overall cost and value of your experience. The most significant element is and extensive experience and the expertise of Dr. Potparic. With over 40 years of practice in both cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery, Dr. Potparic has developed a high level of proficiency in various specialized areas including microsurgery, hand surgery, craniofacial surgery, and all aspects of cosmetic procedures. This comprehensive expertise enables him to consistently achieve results that are above average.
Thanks to his vast experience, Dr. Potparic is able to perform multiple surgical procedures during a single operative session, delivering predictable and exceptional outcomes. For instance, it is possible for a patient to undergo a breast reduction or another breast procedure at the same time as a rhinoplasty and eyelid surgery. The combinations of procedures that can be performed together are extensive in Dr. Potparic’s hands. In contrast, less experienced surgeons may need to perform these operations separately, or patients might require multiple surgeries with different providers, which is less convenient and involves multiple recoveries.
Another important factor in pricing is the length and complexity of the procedures. More complex surgeries, particularly those not commonly performed by most plastic surgeons, are priced higher. Additionally, longer procedures incur greater costs. For example, a facelift performed on a male patient typically takes 30 to 60 minutes longer than the same procedure on a female patient, resulting in a higher price for the male patient.
Anesthesia is a crucial aspect of patient safety, comfort, and achieving predictable results. Our office primarily utilizes twilight anesthesia (conscious sedation) for most procedures, while general or local anesthesia may be used when necessary. Our anesthesia providers, whether Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) or anesthesiologists, have been longstanding members of our surgical team, ensuring that patient safety remains our highest priority.
Location also plays a role in pricing. Our office and surgery center are located in downtown Fort Lauderdale. Patients receive consultations, undergo surgery in our AAAASF-certified surgery center (which is part of our office), and attend follow-up visits all in the same convenient location, with the same surgical and post-operative care team throughout the process.
Operating room pricing is determined by the duration of the surgery, the instruments used, and the specific surgical materials involved, such as implants, grafts, or prosthesis.
Pricing for Breast Procedures
In addition to the general pricing components outlined above, the major factor influencing the cost of breast surgery is the length and complexity of the procedure, which can vary from patient to patient. The duration of anesthesia and the time required in the operating room are affected by these variables. Only the surgeon, based on the preoperative plan, can accurately estimate the final cost for each individual.

When discussing the possibility of non-surgical treatments, like injectables for wrinkles and volume restoration, plastic surgery prices for non-surgical treatments vary based on the specific nature of each procedure. The type and quantity of injectables required, influenced by whether the focus is on muscle relaxation or facial volume, impact costs. The skill of the practitioner, facility fees for quality and safety, and the geographical location contribute to overall pricing.
