BREAST LIFT/AUGMENTATION

This 24-year-old patient wanted a breast lift and significant breast augmentation. Her bra size was 36 C; she wanted to be DD to DDD.  She also had noticeable asymmetry with the left breast being larger and more ptotic (saggy).

Under general anesthesia with addition of intercostal regional blocks (for post-operative pain control- painless breast augmentation), we placed 550 ml. high profile, silicone implants underneath the muscles (subpectoral pocket) followed by vertical breast lift. A small reduction of larger left breast was performed so that the asymmetric breast can be augmented with the same size implants, which provides better long term result.

The patient is shown before and 8 months after breast lift/augmentation surgery.
